Can BaZi Be Falsified? Does It Pass Modern Scientific Tests?

Strictly speaking, BaZi is not a falsifiable scientific theory — it's a qualitative interpretive system, more like literary analysis or Jungian psychology than physics. It doesn't generate controlled, repeatable laboratory predictions.

But that doesn't mean it's useless. Many valuable human tools — therapy, coaching, art criticism — aren't "scientific" in the lab sense. They're judged by their practical utility and the wisdom they produce over time.

BaZi can be tested personally: record your chart, note the elemental timing of major life events, observe the Luck Cycle shifts. Does your life's rhythm match the elemental map? Many people find the correlation too consistent to dismiss. But BaZi doesn't require faith — it invites personal observation.
