BaZi should inform, not dictate, major life decisions. Here's a balanced approach:
Look at your current Luck Cycle. Are you entering a Wealth or Output cycle? It might be time to leap. Entering a Resource or resting cycle? Perhaps consolidate and learn before moving.
Check your Useful God. If your current job aligns with your Useful God's element, think twice before leaving. If it actively drains your Day Master, explore alternatives.
Use timing, not just analysis. Your chart might show a strong entrepreneurial pattern, but if you're in a quiet, cold luck phase, waiting two years could mean the difference between struggle and smooth launch.
BaZi gives you the map and the weather forecast. The decision to hike is still yours.
