You can also provide the Chinese lunar date if you know it, but it's not necessary and can actually introduce errors if the lunar-to-solar conversion isn't handled perfectly.
The safest approach: enter your Gregorian birth date, exact birth time, and birth location (for True Solar Time correction). The system does the rest.
