Luck Cycles (大运) are 10-year periods ruled by a specific Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch, derived from your Month Pillar and gender. They are fixed in their elemental sequence — you cannot change which cycle comes next.
But here's the empowering truth: how you experience a cycle is not fixed. A "difficult" cycle is just weather. If you know winter is coming, you store firewood. If you know your chart's Useful God arrives in five years, you prepare to launch.
Cycles are like seasons. You can't change winter into summer, but you can dress appropriately, plan seasonal activities, and work with the energy instead of against it. The wise farmer doesn't plant in snow — but they also doesn't despair that snow exists.
