No — the "10 Gods" (十神) are not deities. They are relationship roles between your Day Master and every other element in your chart.
The term is a translation artifact. A better word might be "archetypes" or "functional roles." They describe how each element behaves relative to you:
- Elements that generate you = Resource Stars (support, knowledge)
- Elements you control = Wealth Stars (money, goals)
- Elements you generate = Output Stars (talent, expression)
- Elements that control you = Officer Stars (authority, pressure)
- Same-element companions = Friend Stars (peers, rivals)
Think of them as character archetypes in the story of your life. No worship involved.
