1. Different schools of thought. Some follow classical Zi Ping methods; others incorporate New School or blind-man traditions. The core principles are shared, but interpretive emphasis varies.
2. Different life experience. A master who worked in business reads career stars differently than one who came from a spiritual path. Their lens colors their interpretation.
3. Chart complexity. Some charts have clear Useful Gods; others are borderline, with multiple possible interpretations depending on how strength is measured.
4. The client's actual life stage. A reading at age 25 emphasizes different things than one at age 55, even with the same chart.
A good consultant will explain why they read it the way they do and stay humble. If two completely contradictory readings appear, check for birth time errors or consult a third opinion with documented case experience.
