Why Do Some People Have "Good" Charts But Miserable Lives?

A "good chart" on paper — balanced elements, strong Useful God, favorable Gods in key pillars — is potential, not guarantee. Several things can override it:

1. Terrible environment. A seed with perfect genetics planted in toxic soil still withers. Childhood trauma, poverty, or abuse can suppress even the best chart.

2. Wrong choices. A chart with strong Wealth that's used for gambling rather than building burns its own gifts.

3. Unfavorable Luck Cycles. A great Ming met with decades of draining Yun can feel like a gifted athlete with a career-long injury.

4. Entitlement. People with "good" charts sometimes never develop resilience because early life was too easy. When the first hard cycle arrives, they have no skills.

5. Misidentification. Sometimes a chart that looks balanced is actually a special structure that requires the opposite approach — and following standard advice makes things worse.

The chart is a car. A Ferrari in the hands of a reckless driver ends up in a ditch. A Toyota driven wisely crosses continents.
