Twins share the same eight characters, but subtle and profound differences emerge:
Birth order within the same hour. Even a few minutes changes the "minute pillar" (a deeper level some practitioners use), shifting the hidden dynamics.
Gender. If the twins are fraternal and of different sexes, the chart's luck direction reverses — their 10-year cycles run opposite directions, creating completely different life timing.
Environmental mirroring. Twins often split roles — one becomes the "Fire" expression of the chart, the other the "Earth." The family dynamic assigns different energetic expressions to each.
Personal soul and karma. In Chinese metaphysics, you are not only your chart. Your individual consciousness and past-life patterns interact with the natal blueprint.
